In the United States the vast majority of women choose to birth in a hospital setting because most Americans consider the hospital to be the safer place to birth or the only legal place to birth. This is not true. For many women, birthing at home with a qualified and experienced care provider is a safe and legal option.
Giving birth to a child in the comfort of your own home is a wonderful experience. Surrounded by the people and environment a woman enjoys most in her life helps maintain a positive outcome and keeps anxiety and fears to a minimum.
